My Fresh New Start...

*Surprising News*

I know I said I was saying goodbye to designing...but I felt inspired to design again and I couldn't ignore the idea brewing in my mind! Especially since this idea involves both my paintings and designing again! Now this idea came to me as I'd paint my backgrounds for my paintings. After I'd finish up a background I'd think, you know, that would be a cool background for Digital Scrapbooking! Little by little I realized that I really liked that idea. It gives me the originality that I longed for and also fulfills my desire to design again. I really wasn't sure about designing again or how I wanted to do it.

As I was trying to decide and praying about it, Royanna from Divine Digital happened to send me a friend request on my FB page...seriously! I decided to check out Divine Digital and liked what I seen. I went ahead and asked when they might be doing a Designer call and guess what...I'm now an Exclusive Designer for Divine Digital! I'm soo excited and can't wait to put into motion all those ideas I've had brewing!

*Fresh Start*
I decided to be exclusive over at Divine Digital so as not to get overwhelmed with too many stores. This decision was with the idea of also starting fresh in a whole different store for me. So this decision has nothing to do with the other 2 shops I was in (NDISB and FS) because I still love those shops & everyone there! If things go well I may even look into reopening my stores there too. For now, I just want to pace myself and keep my time to be creative! :)

*Exciting New Kits & Kit Ideas Brewing*
I have so many ideas of what I want to do but I also will be bringing all my newer kits that I had recently designed just to get my shop started. I am going to be using some of my kit ideas from last year but totally redone...meaning painted backgrounds and artwork in new color schemes as well! Hint: The first kit on my list is: "A Gingery Christmas Dream" - which I'm hoping to have completed and in my shop by next Friday!

I just got it set up and I am working on getting things ready to put in my etsy shop as well as e-bay. I also need to set up my slideshow of my artwork. I am really excited about this and really feel that I am headed in the right direction...finally!

Still here!

Hello to anyone who stops by to visit! I'm still here just dealing with some personal issues right now so I have had to slow down again! I just wanted to post a little update to let you know this and that I am hoping to have a few kits done this month at least!

Well, I hope everyone is having a wonderful Summer so far! Mine has been extra busy with family gatherings and Weddings! Also have been having my nephews & nieces over now that school's out! Speaking of that...I am also "Auntie Nina Gina" for the 19th time! My sis-n-law had a baby girl just last week! She is sooo cute and her name is Zowie!! I will post pictures soon!

Sooo there is a whirlwind of emotions of the good, the bad & the ugly situations but I have learned to trust in God even more as we deal with the bad & the ugly!! I know these tough times are going to work out in the end so I'm determined to just hold on to that right now!

I hope to get back to actually scrapbooking again soon...in fact, just the other day my niece Selena asked me how come I haven't been scrapbooking anymore? What a shame to have my 10 year old niece point that out to me! lol! I am definately gonna get to that...ASAP!! ;)

Beachin' Blog...Update and a contest!

So are you surprised? I am too! I finally did a little updo here! I used my newest kit "Vibrant Summery Beach Days" for the blog header and the background and the vintage cream paper is just from my own stock of solids. I had something else in mind but since my computer is acting wonky I settled for this look...lol! It's alot better than before and much more befitting don't you think?

Sooo, I think I'm gonna do a contest!! Please leave me a comment of what you think of my new look here and the "Vibrant Summery Beach Days" kit and one of you will get the QP set as a little gift!

Well, I hope that you all enjoy this new look but mostly I hope that you are doing good in life. I have been doing fabulous in my Faith's journey and the Lord is leading and guiding me...which means I know that I need to work on some things in regards to my health. I ended up having to leave my job due to my blood sugars going up way too much and too often. Having ADHD is really bad for Diabetics too since alot of ways to be on top of your sugars is by monitoring, exercise and eating on time and healthy. Which doesn't always happen regularly with my brain getting distracted or too focused...ughh!

So, I am actually looking into some "Diet" & exercise programs...I'd really like to be able to have a baby as I mentioned before. That won't happen unless I get in a healthier state...so if you could please keep me in prayer for that...I'd greatly appreciate that! I have alot of work to do!! In fact, this month at Faith Sister's they have a great collaboration kit called "Healthy Living"...I knew God was giving me a BIG hint when that kit title/theme was posted! LOL! In fact, I'm going to be doing a Health Journal in an Art Journal style this month using that collab!

So enough rambling about my health...lol! Here's an update on my current design stuff:

*6/10/09 Update*
Due to the financial stress that most of us are going through I decided to revise some of my prices based on the 'digi' community standards in order for me to be competive a bit more. I've always tried to price my sets at economically fair prices but realized that there were quite a few that I have neglected to reflect that.

So, I've been revising both my shops and a whole lot of changes have been made...I took out some old kits in the NDISB shop to make room for alot more kits I'll be finishing up this month! Also I cut back alot of my prices for some seasonal kits and other sets. For those of you who have been thinking about picking up my CU sets those are also cut down...alot!! My CU stuff is only available at NDISB at this time. I have done this in both shops...here's the links to my store in case you'd like to check out the new prices:

Last but not least...I have both the "Vibrant Summery Beach Days" Page kit and QP set on an introductory sale until today! I know...I'm so bad at this marketing thing! I meant to post this earlier but you know how life gets in the way!! ;)

I'm still here! lol! I can never get over how fast time goes by! Well, I have a new page kit that I really love!
